I found a Canada 914 part builder that makes monoballs for the front top shock mounts. His price is $195 plus $58 shipping but those are Canadian dollars. What is that in US$$$?
(I know this may go up if the Tampa Bay Lighting beat the Flames. )

www.Exchangerate.com: 1.00 USD US Dollar = 1.387692 CAD Canadian Dollar
1.00 CAD Canadian Dollar = 0.720621 USD US Dollar
Add a couple % for the banks help on exchange. Usually 2%.....
You can use this.... http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic
$253.00 CDN = $185.538 USD
You could also just go to your bank or post office and get a money order in Canadian dollars. Thats what I do when buying parts from the US.
I think I'm right on this one.
Maybe not looks a bit young for 53yrs/old.

Seems like a pretty good price compared to some others.

Hmmm....
Maybe we could do a group buy... I can ship from within the USA from time to time, no/little border hassles.
Mark,
Is this guy's shop close to you?
I'd do a group buy deal.
Paul
Mapquest says they are about 300 miles apart...
He's closer than me.
Paul
Paul, before you buy from the canadian guy, check with Guy at strasse usa.
I bought a set from them a few years ago, cost was 199
they make two types of monoballs, the one with a new camber plate, and the type that you replace the rubber in your exisiting camber plates
Strasse' website has them at $249
Elephant Racing has them for $295
Paul
Paul, strasse has 2 monoball set ups. I think they list the more expensive one on the website, give Guy a call.
or they could have raised the prices...
I'll call 'em.
Strasse' website has three different types listed on thier "Specials" section. But it says "March Specials" so it may not still apply. The inserts are listed at $229.00.
Paul
Brainfart, I think the guys name is Gabe
Gabe is listed as the owner,
here is the link to the specials page...

Paul
looks like they jacked up the price... well I did buy mine a few years ago
maybe you can ask for "racer/pca/scca/914club" pricing
I don't know this Jacques Villeneuve personnaly but saw his 911 running at a few GT and PCA event over here; it is probably one of the fastest 911 in Canada.
He doesn't have any relation with Jacques Villeneuve, F-1 world champion or his uncle, Jacques Villeneuve, ex. Indy car driver.
