Posted by: joea9146 Jun 10 2004, 06:57 PM

Back a while ago some guy was putting a kit together to stiffen the inner Longntudes (sp) .
Did the kit ever happen ? Looked like he was close to being done ?

If it did happen has anyone used one ?

I cant find the original thread.

Thanks

I have them. They rock. He posted them in the vendors area. If I had easy access to a camera I'd shoot pics for you.

Here's a link:

His name is Mark Bland, or ENGMAN. Set of 3 pieces
go for $259 plus shipping.

Happened to see a set at the Funfest last Saturday. His parts look very good, top quality.

Ummmmm.... That is a hole at the back of my firewall that I have to weld in a cover plate. I cut out the rust in the hell hole and I mean I cut out alll the bad. Wanted good metal to weld to. Fixed the hell hole except for this and a minor bit of the engine shelf left to weld up.

Hope this helps to explain the circled area.

I picked up a kit at the Funfest.... for my son's project car....and it slipped right in with NO PROBLEMS...very nice...buy it.... it is well worth the $$... plus easy to install....our next step is to install the floor pans...ours were totally trashed...when we get it all together I'll post a shot or two and give Mark more glowing testimonials.... wink.gif
