I finally have my 914 moving after a 2 year rest. I can hear a "chirping" noise, like bird screaming at times. I'm thinking brakes, it may be tough to diagnose when it is elevated to inspect. I am not applying the brakes and going only 10 mph.
Any clues, or should I look carefully for a missing animal.
Question may seem lame, but perhaps someone has knowledge that will save me many hours. This forum has been a terrific help in the past.

Rear venting clearance too tight?
Brake dust shield rubbing on the rotor.
Fan belt slipping?
Bearings or all of the above?
Did you bed the pads properly????

.....I'll throw something else in the mix....Distributor!

Hey Thanks to all
Going out of town this weekend but bearings or fender rub seem the most obvious.
We shall see
