Once in the short season you call "spring" which was about a week of green grass...
After that, everything was brown, all the other times I have been there, you have brown grass and we still have snow.

Not true! There used to be an awesome Vietnamese restaurant behind the convention center downtown that had lots of dishes with lemon grass

Up on the hill, behind the church in that park.....I saw grass.
Way up, the park with the view of Oakland...
