Have not seen a body kit like this before. Looks like a combination of a few different kits. I noticed the front trunk is full size, they must have stuck the radiator in the very front. Interesting looking car. I wonder what it will go for?

Kind of funny they say "$3,100 spent on engine." Just doesn't seem like that much to brag about. I doubt it will sell, not enough information or pics.
cool except the seat look set up for a really short person.

Hmmm.....too bad it's got that ugly-ass Chalon body kit on it, no way it's going to sell.
"Over $3100 spent on engine... $3618 spent on interior" interesting place to get really precise.
More show than go?

Check out the uglee ass tail dragger behind it...looks like NASCAR wheels on it for the roundy round.....
Well, that is not a Chalon kit on that car anyway, the front is longer, it has some big ass ugly wing on the back, and the rear fender have the vents in them, looks nothing like the Chalon. It looks like they were trying to make it look like a Chalon and a Ferarri and a 944 or something.
I drove a 356 with a Mazda rotary engine ONCE! This pile has re-kindled that BAD memory!
Kinda looks like a beach boys deal, and a big motor is interesting but with all the mods, it sure as shit isn't a 914 anymore....
Could be just too many Jack Black and Dews but I sorta like it.

I think the wing is on the tail dragger behind it that Mike was pointing out. Nascar wheels and big ass wing, moonshiners pimp mobile. |

The guy clearly doesn't know a thing about rotaries. For example, what "head" would he be referring to when he says "the head has been ported and polished"? Surprised to see he didn't say that it had sodium filled valves.
The engine is probably ported - either with a streetport or bridgeport (most likely a streetport). Without a turbo it is doubtfull that it is anywhere near the power level that he is claiming. A stock second generation RX7 Turbo made around 190 horsepower. To remove the turbo and get 40% more power a bridgeport or peripheral port engine is needed. The peripheral port is out of the question since it looks like he has the stock intake. So the only thing left is a bridgeport which would not be a good choice for a street car. A bridgeported engine has a high idle and only makes power in the upper rpm's.
I believe it is most likely streetported and not making anywhere near the power level he is bragging about. With a well tuned streetport he would be making under 200 hp. Assuming that, how many other things has he "inflated" in the name of selling a car?
looks like they crammed the radiator in front of the engine towards the bottom. i can see what looks like an electric fan or something on the lower left of the engine bay pic. i'd like to see some more close up pics of the engine bay.
Will Scott's nicotine rehabilitation take as long as his Chalon to be realized?
Looks like an RX7, probably sounds like one too.
The seller, Sports Car Specialty International apparantly uses the acronym SCSI for themselves - SCSI is a computer acronym pronounced "scuzzy". Would you like to buy a car from the scuzzy dealer ?
Man, I'm a huge nerd...
oops, me too, I just didn't want to admit it
I wonder what the resreve ammount is. Almost 40k in it (should have a V8 porsche for that much $$). I bet the reserve is over 10k.
