Was working on the car a little today to try to get the body in order. Had a small dent in the top of the drivers door where my screwgun slid off the roof and put a small ding in the top. So I figured I would take off the paint right there and just remove the little ding with my stud puller. Well, there was way too much paint ont he door so I decided to strip the paint only to find the perfectly straight door had a little bondo in it. So it looks like I will get to really work with my stud puller more than I anticipated. I am determined to get this car at least in primer and ready for paint before the WCC. The door really isnt all that bad so it shouldnt take too long to get it perfect.

Ravenna Green ??
Saturn Yellow what? The car was that nasty green color from the factory. I am still really undecided on what color to go with. I actaully am considering a nice bright yellow with black trim.

My monitor's way off then...
I need to go to Mayor McCheese's color site and adjust.
Those colors from the 70's are way cool... just not on a Chalon (me thinks unless Aaron says otherwise )

OK... I love your avatar
Looks like a good solid door Scott. What did you use for paint removal, chemical stripper? Heat gun?
My '74 is also Ravenna Green (under the crappy, chipping, peeling red POS DAPO paint job).
Yeah, I used a chemical stripper. This time I bought the one in a spray can instead of the brush on, Not quite as effective but much easier to apply and control.
