went to pick the 914 up tonight....runs like it was new....sounds quiet too, no more popping....i was under orders not to "dick" with the engine from the guy too...lol....

That's some good advice Britt. You'll have your chance to "dick" with it before too long anyway the way these cars are.

root: I haven't put the 1.7 in yet...still running the 2.0 to death....I'm going to switch out this summer, hopefully....I have a new fear though....dropped valve seats. I need a cheap CHT guage...
