I noticed that the 911 sport mounts are a little bit thinner than the stock 914 mounts. Should I add a couple washers to make the height the same?

I've never adjusted the shift linkage before. I've read the procedure in the Haynes manual. Is that all there is to it.

I'd adjust the clutch.

wierd. i swapped trans mounts... and didnt touch my shift linkage....
try geoff's suggestion and adjust the clutch... then make sure nothing is binding....

wierd....
