I’ve owned many Corvair Corsa’s over the years. All but one have been turbos. They were Great bad weather cars when the 914 was put away for the winters. The only other air cooled 6, I have ever owned besides Porsche’s and Corvairs...

They made them That Pretty?! Wow! I rode in one oncet. In high school. My friend told me he had read that the transmission was shared with a vette. But not the drive shaft, which he managed to snap. On his Dad’s car.

In 1966 they went to a Saganaw Transmission. Those are the ones the hot rod guys used when they put the V8 mid engine. Crown made a kit that was fairly popular..

I really think my car likes are trending to air cooled cars. I don't know why....but I seem to gravitate towards them.
Should be delivered soon....
Very tidy someone has spent $$$$,I have always liked the looks and the bad reputation which was and is known , no different of many cars in that era but these got extra flack from some called Ralph. Tell us more, .

You should consider bringing it to the best air-cooled only event in the East. The 14 Annual All Air Cooled Gathering, September 14,15,16, 2018. Yes, there is a Corvair class.
I have always liked the second generation Corvair body style.

I remember having a friend that had a 64 Monza Spyder when I was in high school. Man that thing was wicked fast. My parents also liked Corvairs, we had a 62, 64 and a bus.

Yenko Stingers are awesome....is it bad that I'd rather have one of them than a Yenko Camaro/Chevelle/Nova?

Picked up another....nicely restored 1965 Corsa 140 with 4 speed and positraction. Lots of options. This car is a senior class show car from past Corvair conventions.
Not trying to be a cheerleader for these cars. But, they really are fun to drive and no Porsche tax on parts. Not only that, the design has aged exceptionally well.
