From similar experience do ONE THING prior to looking at anything else.
Take the manifold off and MAKE CERTAIN it is air tight. Once I did this, near all of my DJET problems went away.....like magic!
As I just responded on another thread:
Step 1 is to make sure the ignition system is adjusted correctly and producing good sparks.
Step 2 is to make sure the valve clearances are set correctly.
Then move on to checking your D-jet system.
