I live in Portage Indiana just about 40 miles east of
Chicago. You will go right past Portage taking 94
or the Indiana toll road. I think it would be fun to
follow together. You can call me at 219-762-3179.
I plan to leave here no later than 8am, since Ohio is
1 hour ahead and it will take about 2 1/2 hours to get
the meet from Portage (taking the toll road/ Ohio turnpike). Let me know. driving.gif

Sounds like a plan. I'll call you when we get there Saturday and hook up Sunday morning for the rest of the drive.

Yep, drove it home this afternoon. I put 250 miles on it
today. driving.gif Spent about a hour at Brad Mayuers
talking with Him & Mike. Left there with a nice set of
Fuchs with the bolts and new center caps. wub.gif

The car runs great!!!! clap56.gif handles great!!! clap56.gif clap56.gif but it needs some minor
body work and a paint job, but overall I am very
happy dance.gif Going to get my Indiana plates
tomorrow and look for some meats for the Fuchs

I think there is one on South Bend, but I am not
sure??? Any thoughts on what size tire and brand
would be best on the Fuchs?

205's may fit (depends on the car)
195/60's or 195/55's are what i'd recomend.
Maybe some Kumhos (good bang for the buck).

Sorry Garold I did not see this. Per my PM I am working through some unexpected scheduling issues so I HOPE LIKE HELL to go but I don't want to commit to you and leave you hanging. GWN 7 is a good man! He will make an excellent "wing man". I will call your cell if I can hook up Sunday.

Hey guys Mapquest tells me that I should go north on 69 to the I80/I90 exit and then head east towards OH.
Do you have any idea when you'll be going by that area? Mapquest says its about 74 miles from the meet.

I'm thinking about at that interchange around 9:30am.

Looking at the atlas, we should be in that area around 9:30am also. I don't remember if there is a rest area
after that interchange or not, I think there is one
before you cross in to Ohio. If anything we can pull
off the side of the road and wait. Call me on my cell
219-730-6418 when you get close to Angola, sound
good to you????

Posted by: seanery Aug 8 2003, 08:20 AM

yup, sounds good.

my cell is 317-557-1257.
If you don't hear from me and you're near the OH border give me a shout.

If anyone is coming up I-75 in Ohio and wants to meet me in Findlay, let me know.
