Will a 1.7 tps work in a 2.0? What is the diff in the two?

I haven’t opened a 1.7L TPS, but I have opened a 2.0L TPS.

I can assure you that the wiring for both TPSs is identical. The 1.7L has 4 poles, the 2.0L also has only 4 poles, but the plug that fits into the TPS from the harness has 5 cavities, one is blank.

Either way they use wires…in order…17, 30, 20, 9 from the ECU plug.

Actually any picture at all.. maybe.

He said he may have an alternate TPS, and I don't have a car around to look at.
