Anyone ever heard of Avante Wheels? I have heard they are worth some thing. They have the 4 bolt 914/VW pattern. Anyone have any idea.

I don't think they made a wheel specificly for the Avante, so whatever cheap, cast rim made for Bug would fit the Avante.

Actually these are 8 spoke with Avante Center caps i was told they are valuable they have black centers and crome rims, and are in nice shape just need a cleaning.

Centercaps mean nothing.....they can be adapted to just about anything if one so desires....

Sorry my digital camera is at a friends house I will take pic as soon as I can. I dont think they are empi's but that is the style from the pic it looks like the empi have a recess around the lug bolts mine do not. I am just trying to get educated I have been around 914's/VW for the last 10 years and had never heard of avante rims I was told that the last guy who owned these rims was offered $1000 for the rims from a VW collector.
