Just got some seals from Tweeks for the trunks. The remnants of the seals on the trunks seem to have fit right on without glue. The replacements don't go right on. Is it glue time?
Any advice on putting the squeegies on the windows and the rear window seal?

I put dish soap on the side squeegies and pull them into place with plyers. Put a bit of water in the track and moisten the squeegies after soaping them. They will go on like butter!
The rear window I did when I had the window out so I have no input on that!

The rear window seal has a metal clip inside the seal, you need to get iton and once stated it goes fairly quick. Do not glue on any of the rubber seals that go on the trunk, they also have metal clips inside and slide down over the lip on the trunk, you may need to use a hammer(soft) to get it started.
The squeeges go on after you remove the very small screws that hold the window top guide caps on, there may also be an inner screw, caereful easy to lose down the window channel. They slide in rather easily after you lube them , soap , silicone spray,WD40, whatever works for you.

use glycerin and be generous, any drug store should have it. the window squeegees will slide right in from the handle side of the door, 10 min. trim them after you install for a tight seam to the end cap, get those also if you have the dough. i did the new side and top seals yest. i split the old ones with a utility knife to remove. they don't slide as easily. place the outer groove over the trim piece lip. then work the inner side edge in with something that will not cut/mar the new rubber, 15 min. bye, bye squeeky top and rattely windows. new vert felts are next on my hit list. why do these cars leak? i had never seen "new" seals. there is a little second flap that covers the window edge.

The front of the Targa top seal at the windshield. Top piece that runs all the way across. Anybody have a small piece of this stuff? The PO cut it about an inch too short!?!

The seals on the rear trunk are on. I took a look at the front trunk...I assume I use some sort of glue for that. Also, one of the rails is rusty... are replacements hard to find?
Also, CB Performance is good but they have a $20 minimum, and all I need is the threaded linkage rod.
Targa side seals do not 'slide in'!
They are installed by feeding the inside lip first, then pushing the outside lip in-and-under, back to front.

It is not the targa seal. It is the front trunk seal. It seems glue is necessary? Is that right?

They are designed to be glued. Most people don't glue them. The glue traps water under the seal & rusts out the seal flange.
