OK, dum question. My tires came in today from the Tire Rack
. So it is now time to
get them mounted and balanced. I have a nice set of Fuch's I want them
on but I don't want the weights to spoil the looks of
the Fuchs. Can the weights be mounted to the back side of the rim so not to be seen?
I really never gave it much tought in the past with
my thruck when I got new tires, its a truck.
OK there is my dumb question for today.

Yes, the weights can be mounted on the farside of the wheel, that is how I have mine done on all my cars (and the truck)

more likely - or as likely - they will use stick-on weights on the inside of the rim.
i just had a set done and they wanted me to sign a waiver that they wouldn't be responsible for stick-on weights coming off - so naturally, it was one of their clip-ons that was lying loose at the bottom of the stock when i loaded them into the car ...
racer guys will carefully run a piece of racer's (duct) tape to any stick-on weights -- the heat from track use can loosen the adhesive in the tape ...
i doubt this would last many seasons of street use but it couldn't hurt ...
if you won't let them stick a weight where it's needed it may require much more weight somewhere else - and it may not be possible to balance at all. fortunately - contemporary tires require far fewer balance weights than the olden tymes ...
