Just a couple of dumb questions
1. What is the small knob on the top of the FI Controller for? At 33 at least I now know better than to just turn something before I know what it is.
2. I understand that the pedal board is prone to some kind of failure. I know that all my brakes need gone through and god only knows when the system last had fluid in it but the pedal barley moves back and forth and there is no return at all. Is there a spring in there and should I just remove the whole assembly for an R&R.
Thanks. You guys have been great.
Todd
The knob is a "rich/lean" adjustment for the fuel injection. You can turn it... just count how many "clicks" it makes until it stops... and put it back where you found it...LOL
Replace the MC.. its sticking because its toast. The only spring for the pedal assembly is for the clutch (If I recall correctly).. I know it has one spring that is a BITCH to install when rebuilding the pedal assmebly... it is for the clutch pedal arm.

The ECU knob adjusts only the idle mix!
Geoff
TRUE !!
Do you think we could change it so it would adjust off idle mix ??
B
Easier to just have me adjust your MPS on the garage floor like I did for Chris Reale last weekend. 10 minutes and its "how much richer do you want it?"
Geoff
Do some research before attempting the MC it will save you lots of time (and torn knuckels) reattaching the fluid tubes!!! I think we did a thread on the best way to do it! Also while you are in there, take out the pedal assy., repair any moisture damage and replace the bushings. I put a small bead of buel tape around the hole for the MC to keep the water from making its way through the firewall there!
