914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Early spring

I get home from work yesterday. Ellen is still at work with the
Volvo. Jake needs to get to band practice at school before the big
concert tonight. What to do? Well, he's already late, so telling him
to walk or bike to school won't help much. I know. I'm drop the
battery back into the teener and drive him. The weather here has been
pretty dang mild all winter and it's only a couple miles to school, so
I grab the battery and a wrench. Twist, twist, twist. Pull the mouse
deterrents off the exhaust and the intake. Starts up after a few
tries and off we go.

It was a bit earlier in the season than I'd planned, but everything
worked fine.

Here's to Spring...

Same kind of deal here. I had mine out for a spin last week. It is forcast to get into the 60's here tomorrow (w/slight chance of rain) and I'm actually contemplating driving my 914 to work!

I am cool with another month of winter. I want to get a bit more skiing in!

I grew up in upstate new york, so I am not stranger to winter. Skiing/snowboarding makes all the difference, it gives you something constructive to do outside when its snowy, as opposed to staying inside and being pissed off that you have nothing to do. cool.gif
