This is what I have for the front. My car did not have bars installed before. I have a UTab kit as well as what you see here.
What do the 4 small tabs do?

I only count 2 bolts for the triangle mounts per side and wouldnt the drop links need bushings?

Posted by: seanery Sep 24 2003, 09:47 PM

complete bushing set is coming. New hardware replaces all old hardware except on bottom shock mount.

Are you going to use an inside bracket?

Jeff

You're thread got me asking this question. I think that may be the only thing I'm missing.
I'll need to get some of those.

I made mine. Just found some steel the same thickness as the outside mounts & cut them with a jig saw then drilled the holes. The lower hole was the tricky one tho. Had to use AB epoxy to hold the nut to the plate while I screwed the bolt in from the fender well... and it worked beer.gif

The four small tabs go in the arm at the end of the bar to clamp it to the square end. This is a lousy drawing but they are #30:

Does it go inboard, outboard or in the middle of part #28?

Get busy its been 4 days since you picked up the sway bar. Get it in the car.
Also there is a guy in New Albany, In. who is making the reinforcement plates. I will find his email for you.

I ordered his plates as soon as James posted his.
I'll pick them up at Doc & Cy's on Saturday.

Van,
I picked up all the sway bar stuff (F & R) from the blaster today and dropped them off at the powder coater.
I'm getting the brand & part # for the engine tin brad did for me and this stuff will match.

How long should the bolts be between the two "body mounts" ?

Posted by: seanery Sep 14 2004, 03:47 PM

I just got back from my local CAT dealer. Man, what an awesome vendor! smilie_pokal.gif $3.81 worth of parts and they treat me like a million bucks. I got a couple pages from their parts catalog with part #'s and sizes I'll post later.

I went with 50mm for the above asked question. I hope that's big enough.
