What happened? I left for MUSR Thursday 6am. get back Sunday 5pm. No bbs AAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH! At least I had a major 914 fix this weekend, but I missed the rest of you guys and gals.

It was a lost weekend if there was one. I am going to the land down under for three weeks and was afraid I wouldnt get my fix befor I leave.

My wife's been saying that I'm addicted- I guess I've been in denial! It was rough this weekend - I had to pull out the parts catalogs and my collection of books to get me through the bad times! The rest of the time I just hung out in my garage and worked on my 914!

LOL... no wonder you people never get anything done on your cars, you park your butt in front of the computer to read what everyone else is doing. Which is the same thing, parking there butt in front of the the computer.........oh you mean I am doing that also. Well it's different, I can talk about it, I know I have a problem and I can deal with it.

got tired of checking. looked at my email and low and behold, it was from 914world.com. now how can that be? things will slow down at pelican. even looked at shoptalk . but found this, www.volksrods.com. check it out. we're like a bunch of bank robbers, show up, take take the goods and split.

Yeah, not only was THIS site down but my personal web server was down -- along with email -- for the entire weekend. I spent more time than I cared for at my old stomping grounds on the VW Vortex. Glad to see this back up

holy shit! i didn't even notice we were down till this AM! i spent the weekend in the garage (ok so i did some enforced yardwork on sunday) with teener guts all around me - the only thing closer to heaven will be a running autokar.

yepp, server went down sat. and we had to wait until monday to get it restarted. usually, when i'm around i just do that myself.
oh well, time to get that backup server up & running ...
