How big of a difference will the AAR make to the car? I have one from my 2.0 I could put in. I went looking and the whole for the AAR is all plugged up. Where is the connection for it?
Thanks,
Eric
It will make the car easier to drive when its warming up. It mounts next to the plenum IIIRC.
Geoff
one hose from the air-cleaner, one to the plenum ...
it's basically a controlled vacuum leak until your engine is warmed up.
makes it idle better when cold.
i took mine out, cold idle is a bit rough, but nothing bad and runs great when warm. unneeded weight unless you still need smog.

Where does the elcetrical connection go? I can't find an open one.
Thanks,
Eric
White wire. In the same harness as the oil pressure light wire, coil wires, etc. At least, in many D-jet cars it is. 72s had a very different harness, and the L-jet 1.8s may be different.
Connects at the relay board 12-pin connector. The connection to the fuel pump circuit is made either inside the relay board or with a short green jumper wire on the 12-pin connector, depending on the year of the car.
