Just curious!!
EDIT:
Last poll option is 66+
HAY;
I feel discriminated against, don't us that are between 66 and 70 count
or may be we win the prize. A Jake Raby engine of our choice! Thanks

Thanks Dave
Ohhhhh Boyyyyyy - - -
I can't believe people actually voted for this one - - -
Next poll: If you had the opportunity to jump off the brooklyn bridge, would you?
i am 49, but have been told(many times) i act like a child
i'm a "young" 56 so i voted in the 51-56 range instead of the 56-61 range
I am 12.
Wasn't sure how to answer. Just counting this life?
Very good question. I hate to say this but, do you also see the midlife crisis trend here?
You should have asked how old we feel. How about how old we act.
I am in the largest age group
wow, only 1 other in the 26-31 no mans land...guess most are working too hard at jobs
I didn't vote since my age is constantly changing
I counted but I ran out of fingers & toes - sooo i must be 11???
6-7/8
I actually deleted this thread once already when I found a "missing" age group.. but I guess I missed another one..lol
Too late to change it..
I just was curious, whom finds a 914 group to be their buddies..
I'm old enough to remeber when Bob Dylan couldn't carra tune in a bushel basket! Wait a minute, that's no help.
I'm old enough to remeber when the Porsche family (and its derivatives) controlled Porsche. Nope, no help there either.
I'm old enough to remember REALLY racing for pink slips. Good thing I had a hot MoPar then! My parents would have killed me.
I'm old enough to remember when "you may be a redneck if.." jokes weren't jokes!
But I still voted in the poll because.....because.....what?
13287 days!
What do I win?
What was the question?
Thanks Ol' Howie.
I would not have caught that without you!
Lots of older farts here
nothing beats aged experiance I think
Age is a state of mind................
You can be old and still be an immature twit.......like a certain assbreath poster who's on my "list"......
My Pe--s is willing to seek out a really good HOWARD!!!!!!!!!
Hi...
Worst part of being old is you don't see or hear good and it's NOT caused by too much sex.
Fess up old teeners. Does Viagra make anyone of you hear or see better?

And SPEAK UP!

Younger crowd might have missed that humor but bet all the old teener's heard you.
so mid life crisis is 41-46 - hum : )
Can I change my age in the poll ?
My car was not mid-life, since I got it when I was 30. I'll bet that is true for the rest of us old geezers too. My theory is that the culture at the time of puberty and just after is what people cling to. I'm sure stuck in the seventies, and I'll bet this majority of geezers likes 70s stuff (music, cars, movies, etc.)
Since I fall in the category of "old farts" myself ...I wonder if this might be a testamony that the 914 is one of the best sports cars of all times...I have more than one Porsche now ...I had a new 914 in 1973 and owned many other sports cars since than...but the 914 is still my favorite after all those years ...
There is one thing that this poll has proven..
914's are loved, admired, collected, raced, and driven by people of all age groups. I would say that their are a wide spread amount of ages.. Plenty of teen agers and college student ages, family's, grandpa's, and even old geezers..
Love this group. Love this car!
49 on Nov 4. Grown older and a little wiser, not "grown up" though.
Got my first 914 28 years ago last month.
38 as of a few hours ago. I was born only 18 years before the Scotch I'm drinking right now!
on nov 29 i'll be FIFTY but i'm not a "POST WHORE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Inversly, I'm 40, 41 in January, at an age where all women seem to look good, and yes am an avid Pppppppost Whore.
wow. only 5 percent of us are 21-26? wow...
I'm almost 44. I run a few miles to stay fit..........and so I can eat everything in site!

We're all "old farts" in training
under 16?..........damn, I thought I started early.
and for the youngens of 70+
68, almost 69. Got my first 914 in 1970, a 6 cylinder. Converted to 2.7 S motor in
1975, this one is currently inop, will revive soon with at least 3.0 L cis or possible
3.2. Converted 2 914 for temporary toys. Dimitri
Thanks Andrew doing our demographics homework for us!!!
Let us know how you are!!
35 today and 36 on 11-24
B
30 awhile ago.
After a dozen years of Porsches (since I retired from racing) I thought the 914 was a "kids" car...now at 46, and seeing all the enthusiasm here...I know it is!
that gets thrown way off when these old guys retire and pull minimal "income" ---> for tax purposes but seem to have infinite money (return of principal?) to spend on their toys --- teener in the trust with all the rest of the money so its not spent just transfered from savings to "914 investment fund" LOL
i know in my case my $ spent on the car is a larger percentage of income than it "should" be.
914-P retirement plan in the IRS code?
