O.K. it needs to be in good shape??? No major rust, in the usuall areas ! Can be a driver, ( able to be driven from you to N.W. Ohio ) excellent Interior. What do you have ???? Let me know! Doing it again,( wife says no fool like a old fool ) generally I agree with her. I sold my old 914 2 weeks ago , I couldn't stand the with drall. I think there should be a law, against any 70 + guy selling his 914 , let the heirs despose of it. Let me know what you have, Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) P.S. no engine or trans is O.K. I guess I could pick up or ship ,if possible !!!! |

Dave, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Your hopelessly addicted. First and most important, Take care of your back. You will not be able to work on the new toy if your too sore to bend over the engine. Second, keep walking the dog and great luck on your new quest for your life long passion! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/assimilate.gif)
And wifes always say that, then give you the look. Just tell her it keeps you young. BTW: you posted this in the parts section. One of the admins should move it to the cars and rollers section. |

Could it be a 1975 ? I have a RUST FREE 1975 Porsche 914 available. This has to be one of the cleanest 914s I have seen in a long time. Make sure you find one that DOES not require ANY welding. There are a few out there. I can throw in a one of a kind CONSOLE. Thank you, TOMAS. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Dave,
I had a feeling you would buy another car! I felt bad pulling out of your neighborhood with your car while you and your wife watched me leave...there was a profound sadness in the air. I hope you take some comfort in that your car is being treated well. I washed and waxed it last weekend and took it on a long drive this morning. Good luck in your quest for a new car. You did a great job on this one! |

Bill: Knowing the kind of guy who got it made it much easier. Getting a another 914 is not set in stone' yet. Got to work out details with my son. A new one will be at his house. He has mega space there to work on it in. A 4 1/2 garage . With at least 15 ft . ceiling+ 15 X20 workshop. And a grainery that can converted to something useful. And a full size Cattle Barn. I might even have service pit. I am going to make it as easy as possible, or nothing is going to happen. I have to build the garage on the concret base from another farm building that is allready there. BTW sent you a box ,it will arive Tues. or Wed. just a couple a things I found while cleaning up the left side of my garage at the house. Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) |
