I have a set of the gold anodized aluminum and a set of the plastic chrome. Both very nice. I want to trade a set for a set of the silver anodized aluminum. I have the retaining clips.

I have silver and want the Gold. I haven't removed them so I'll need to do that. I want to make sure all the tabs are good for you if we do the deal.
Any tips on removing the speed nuts? |

The way I removed them was to grasp firmly with pliers and and twisted as I pulled off the speed nut. I would not worry about crushing the speed nut out of shape. These are cheap to replace. Do not pull at an angle while you twist and pull, because this is how you snap the legs off. I also had the engine lid off, which makes the work easier and faster to do. I will send pics of the letters.
