Crawled under my car yesterday only to find a broken mounting ear on the tranny (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Anybody have this part? |

Crawled under my car yesterday only to find a broken mounting ear on the tranny (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Anybody have this part? They can be welded with the right equipment and knowledge of welding AL-MG alloy. I have never seen on crack. Just snap off in an accident. Picture? Bruce |

Should have snapped a pic. I'll investigate getting this welded, but something tells me nobody is going to want to do it or, if I do find someone, the price will be crazy because of the liability (magnesium being highly flammable). Would rather find an intact piece honestly.
