(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Wow you guys are suspicious right out the gates, I thought it was just Google translate being a bit clunky, or typing in your second language. I didn't pick up on the wrecked part, which at face value looks a bit iffy
Europen authorities take a very dim view of vin tag swaps, same as the US. Plus there are lots of specialists in Germany and beyond who can put even a properly bent / rusted out car back together. Mittlemotor, Freisinger, even Porsche classic at the factory if you have pockets to your knees Hope this is a genuine search for a whole car to restore & maybe (for now) cut the guy some slack? |

Indeed, I am not a native speaker/writer...
Sorry for the misunderstanding, something I did not want to communicate. I definitely do not look for a VIN metal piece, but for a car, or for the rest of it. Thank you for the good wishes, I understand it will take a while. I am sure there are plenty of 6s wrecks stowed away waiting to be discovered. Thank you for helping me. |

I think this thread here should be closed or merged with that on in the WTB CARS etc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif)

Oh, they will melt alright. However, our new German friend has a lot of competition looking for a restorable original 914/6, and we are rather jealous of our leads.
