Kinda says it all. Any available somewhere? Item #30 in the attachment. 914 Rubber has this. https://914rubber.com/search/?q=grommet%20B021119553 They do not show a part that matches that part number. Your search looks for all grommets. The only one that looks close is this which is described as 24mm rubber sleeve. the CHT hole is 26mm. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Amazon has an assortment of solid grommets that allow you to add whatever hole that you need. That's where I got my CHT grommet, and numerous others.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy the Grommet Kit. I took one that fit the main hole well, and then fit a second grommet in the hole of the first one. Seals tight and has a small hole for the wire to pass through. Bonus: You get lots of other grommets and its like 4 bucks. If you really want it to hold, you can do a little gluing / black RTV one grommet in another. It was an easy fix.

It fits in the hole with some slop but looks like it is will work ok. |

When looking for parts, always remember you are driving a Volkswagen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) https://www.busdepot.com/021119553 @MartyYeoman If you do order that gromett olease report back if it is actually available. It is said to be genuine and special order. Or call a VW dealer and ask them. I know that sometimes the same part that may be discontinued by Porsche is available from VW. That Amazon assortment has a 25.4 mm gromett that should work in the 26mm hole. |
