This is a pair of late 911 Boge struts with the 3.5" caliper bolt spacing that allows use of bigger brakes.
They have been powder coated and include top retainer caps, spacers on the spindles, keyed washers and spindle lock nuts. These are the later 911 style made after 3/85 and have external threads at the top for the retainer cap. They accept either Boge or Bilstein inserts. Only one top cap and spacer are shown but the other parts are on order and expected this week. Price is $600 shipped in the U.S. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Koni’s wont fit these? Both Koni and Bilstein make special inserts for boge struts. @steve @grantjd Koni lists the 8641 insert to fit all 911 and 914 but that is not correct. I tried one in this late strut and the insert does not locate in the bottom and the top not does not center the insert as the late top caps do not go inside the tube over the insert. The insert has about a half inch of vertical movement. Bruce |
