COMPLETE CHAIN UPGRADE KIT (NEW)
Contains the following: (2) Updated Cam Housings / Timing Covers (4) Oil Supply Lines (2) Cam Spacer's (not pictured, but included) (2) Timing Cover Gaskets (not pictured, but included) (2) New Oil Feed Tensioners (1) Install Kit (nuts, bolts, washers, and additional mounting hardware) APPLICATION 1968-1983 Porsche 911 / 911S / 911 SC / 911 Targa / 930 TIE PTNM: 930 105 911 912 PRODUCT INFORMATION It's not a matter of whether your chain tensioner's will fail, it's a question of when. In most cases a seal in the old spring loaded tensioners fails. Failing chain tensioner's cause the timing of the valves with respect to the pistons. At that point the valves will make contact with pistons .. Very expensive!! In 1984 Porsche redesigned the 1984 Porsche 911 For your 6 conversions. I am going to use 930s with hirda stops as I have an early aluminum case and do not want to dick the extra work I would need to do to put these in my 2.5 SS. I bought new and am not going to use them. Bob I take Paypal burtonplastics@aol.com |
