I am left-handed, and yes, I am an old guy, but I had some form of ADD as a kid, back when a back of Dad's hand was the therapy, but this was the most dumb thing I ever did on a 914.
I looked at the TPS sensor and moved it totally opposite where it should have been. The car ran NOT! SO, I go to the TPS, check the diagram, and immediately used the multimeter to reset it RIGHT! Car started right up! I am taking it to a pro to tune it. I am at my limit! DUH. Never let it be said that I know that much, even after 6 914's. Thanks again to all the much smarter teeners than me! John |
