Somebody posted this quote on a Planet 9 thread .
QUOTE ... but its not all 911s & Caymans at Sebring. This guy won his class, and if the race would have been any longer than just 12 laps, he might have lapped the entire field of 911s, 924s and 944s up to 4th place. Amazing car to see in action! Does anybody here know this car? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif) Details? Photos? Attached image(s) |

He is an old friend
I used to race against him in PCA name is Tony Clinton it was originally a colorado car built originally from AJRS most of the AJRS cars have those same holes drilled between the tail lights... Allen tried to get me to drill the same holes in my vintage car, but I just couldn't do it. Tony is a pilot and was relocated to atlanta or somewhere south for work as a 5R car is should be a 2.2/6, thats what it used to be when it was built. The sister car still lives in Boulder and was initially built to all of the same specs by bobby dahlstrom. I grew up doing DE with Tony and Bobby then we all went into wheel to wheel with PCA when club racing first started. b |
