I'm looking to add the spacer/extender for my CHTS on 74 2.0L. Car is running great, but has the common "warmup issue" where idle fluctuates wildly between 500(?) and 1200 RPM after the AAR closes. At times, it almost want to die. Once warmed up, perfect idle at 950 RPM.
The spacer/extender should be M10x1.0 female to male. Can it be brass or are the expansion properties of brass too great? Was wondering if anyone has ever located one at a Home Depot or Lowes? |

This is the correct thread to run into the head (10X1.0).
The female thread is 1/8 NPT, but the CHT should thread into that just fine (at least once) according to some that say 1/8NPT is essentially identical to 10X1.0. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productde....asp?RecID=1832 |

If anybody is interested, I may have found an M10x1.0 female to M10x1.0 male extender for $8.65 (probably plus shipping).
