I'm working on my car and getting it ready for paint. I want to remove the hood hinges and get them painted. I have tried twice to remove them but I'm reluctant to apply too much force for fear of breaking the bolts. I thought about spraying them down with something but it is difficult to get the product (WD40 etc) in to the nut area.
I tried some map gas but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks David |

Thanks David Use a 1/2 ratchet to get some leverage. If they break I can send a replacement set with shoulder bolts of the cost of postage. |

Get some PB blaster behind it, the thread are hidden.
Use impact, like an air impact gun or an electric one. Arm strength will break them, impact will not. |
