I have a 76 porsche and I need a new synchros for the transmission since it doesnt stay in fourth gear. Are the synchros from these engines the same as the volkswagen engines? Thanks for any suggestions and replies

The synchros actually also help lock the gear in. But if they are that badly worn, chances are pretty good that other stuff is also quite worn.
And no, they're not VW parts. They're early 911 parts, and priced to match. --DD |
