I saw some 44mm Webers on ebay for a good price ($799).
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=7973152063 I did some searches and found a "factory direct" Weber USA site and they also have an in stock 44mm type IV kit for around $800. http://www.webercarbsdirect.com/inc/pdetai...ail?v=1&pid=464 |

Is that a... complete kit?
Complete... as in ... 100% of the parts you need ... linkage, throttle cable bracket... down to the fuel lines... For $800 that beats the CBPerformance kit price by $200! |

The important difference here is that the 44mm CB Performance kit is listed as N/A.

Those may be old spanish sets that are left over..
The new carb kits are from EMPI- Not Weber- Chinese made.. The Spanish ones were getting bad enough... |

I was told by a reputal source that webber was coming to the USA in 5 to 6 months and that to wait on buy carbs as the price was going to drop drastically. This was a month ago. Who knows???? Buy, sell merge, anything can happen to any company at any time.

That is the truth... They are coming to the USA- BUT the carbs will probably not be perfect in the first few runs..
