You must have put the four cylinder back in because everyone knows a six cylinder will never take TTOD. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif) Way to stick it to da' man Trekkor. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif)

Thanks, guys. It would nice if more of you could come out and run.
The car that was within a half second was a nice '86 911 with a 3.6 on the same Kumho 710's as me. Brian Lay, a GGR heavy...he took 7th overall at the recent Zone a/x. Got me by a full second. I may attend the season finale at Alameda on the 29th to square off one more time. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) It's been a fantastic season. KT |

I like them better than the Hoosier's. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) They stick right off grid. Get hot, "right now". I didn't try cooling them with a sprayer like some do. Got 'em up to 150° on a cool overcast day. Hoosier's are tough to get above 110°. these are the best i have run. softer ride, too. KT |

Yea maybe I don't read to Good.
if you are half a second from the other guy in the 911 then he had TTOD. Glad them sticky tires are doing the job for you. Are you keeping a log book of performance for your car? I am ( I mean was) Going to keep it all and use it for the starting point when building the stripper. |

He was a half-second (or more, I think!) from the 911--in the other direction. If you like, you can say that the 911 was a half-second back from him.
A 914 rules the day!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) There were 3 of us there (that I recall). Nice that we were able to get TToD. I'm interested to see how far back in the results I was--I think my best time was about 4.5 seconds back from Trekkor, which ain't too bad considering how he was flying out there! And boy, do I like my "new to me" Azenis tires! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) --DD |

my motor just took a nosedive and it looks like it's time for a top-end rebuild. hey, i got almost 5000 miles out of it! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) anywho, i'll be ready next season, hopefully along with Bill P. and Randal. someone has to keep trekkor in check, right?
