Just wondering, looking at them wondering if they are reasonable streetable, and if any one who has them noticed an HP difference.....

I'm running 10.5 :1 Mahles. Single plug & race gas. With a twin plug set-up you could get by with street gas....I think. I used to run 9.7 :1 with street gas ...on the street even. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That's pushing the limit for single plug.
Yes, there is a decent hp/torque bump over the 8.5 :1 RS PCs. The RS made 210 hp, 188 ftlbs with S cams at the crank. I'm making 198 hp & 190 ftlbs at the wheels with Solex cams, both at lower rpms that the RS (WAG 225 & 215 at the crank). |
