If this is the wrong forum please move. Since this car is 10 minutes from where I work, I thought I'd take a look at it.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/1229600702.html VIN is #01335. Built in 8/73. Sits on Rivi's. Spare is a steel sport. Was a light yellow. Original paint now very oxidized. I was hoping it was a diamond in the rough. Unfortunately it's too far gone to save. Lots of rust. Bad rust too. The hell-hole is completely eroded. Trunk hinges have rotted away. Many small dents. I discussed with the owner and explained how I thought it would be better to part out as a parts car. It does have a genuine 2.0 with correct heads. If the mileage is correct at 55K, she says it is, I bet the motor and tranny are still in good shape. The dash is shot but the center console is near flawless. All three guages are excellent. Sail trim is nice. All exterior lenses are cracked. Windshield has big cracks. Tinted door glass is nice. Could be a nice drivetrain parts car to complete your project. |
