Ok, I am back in Seattle for a short while including to go to WCC06. I did get to test drive the 93 911 Turbo in Suriname which was fun. Comparing my 914 to the 911 well, the 911 is like driving a Lexus all tame vs the 914 is so loud and full of road feel. I prefer the 914 as its more an extension of myself vs just driving a heavy fast car.

Blair and I have the Black 72 running although it needs to still have some areas sorted out before really driving it full time. Got a set of rear Bilsteins to go on it, adjust the shifter some more, finish the interior, re-adjust the valves, install a Pretronix etc....
The little 1.7 sounds pretty good and revs up nicely! I worked on it on Fathers Day to fix a couple of things and then it fired right up. Love that Djet.
