Drove to work again. The drought here is pretty bad for everything else, but I've
been driving the car 2-3 days a week, more than 2000 miles already this season. |

Finished rebuilding and installing the transaxle. Shifts much better overall. 1st and reverse are still hard to get into I think it is shifter adjustment.

Abe @Abes914 came this morning and we installed a set of minilites with 195x60 15 rims, installed under pan cover with new seal, fixed some bent and painted his rear valance and installed it.

I picked up this fiberglass aftermarket LE spoiler at Okteenerfest from Rick aka rix914parts , but there wasn’t time or tools while there to mount it , so unfortunately the front end looked a bit off , as some may have noticed . i had to remove the stock one , due to tow bar, and i didnt want to cut holes in that one , and the LE does work with the tow bar, and i decided to mount the Hella lights as well. Took all day to do this task, and i’m not done the lights are not wired yet, that’s a job for another day, but i think i’m ready for the Hilton Head Concours car club show case in November.
The valance took a lot of prep work but in the end it came out nice. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Do you also use the Tangerine firewall bushing with the Tangerine shift rod linkage ? @914e @jim_hoyland I had used the Tangerine firewall bushing however the firewall sheetmetal and the sheet metal ring that the boot connects to are slightly off center from each other and caused me binding. So I had to go back the the plastic bushing |
