I don't see why you guys like "radar love" so much...
Maybe it's because I've seen the Golden Earing (it's a Dutch band) and know they're a very uninspired bunch of jaded old farts... Or maybe I've played the stoopid song too many times (wake me up in the middle of the night and put a guitar in my hands and I'll play it without opening my eyes) cheers, Jeroen |

QUOTE I don't see why you guys like "radar love" so much... More and more I find myself diggng up and listening to old tunes I used to hear on the radio in my teenage days (and my 20's - Love 80's tunes). Radar Love was one of 'em. Can't help it. Meatloaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Light |

My vote goes for Red Barchetta, but Radar Love is up there too. Actually, I don't usually listen to music while I drive. It drives people that ride with me crazy. I like just listening to the car. I'm not even going to put a stereo in my 914 I don't think. Maybe a removable unit in place of the center console........got to eliminate some more rust first.

Crawling in the Dark by Hoobastank - I love that song.
Hey, it could be about a guy trying to put his 914 back together "show me what it's for, make me understand it ..." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) |

"Dixie Chicken" by Little Feat may not be a road song, but they did a song on their first album (yes those vinyl discs!) named "Willing" that was.
It went something like this... "I've driven every kind of rig that's ever been made, Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed, If you give me weed, whites, and wine.." The old days, Mike |

Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Great tempo. Starts out nice and slow to get the engine warmed up, then kicks it up a little for some spirited driving. Great if you've got a route to match it. |

The old days, Mike I was reminded of that song, Willin, as I drove through Tucumcari last November, also passed through Winslow, AZ, thinking of the song "Take It Easy". Didn't see the girl in the flatbed Ford, though |
