Anyone out there with know how on setting up a web cam link, I can set up my laptop with camera and just turn it on for the viewing audience.

/
Got Skype on that laptop? That makes it easy but is limited to a single remote connection at a time.

I will bring a laptop with webcam as well. There is wireless in the building but the router is a long way away and a stee wall between the two makes getting a signal an issue.

There is a small chance I can get a camera web server with 4 cameras on the router and port forward it. That unit allows 25 or so simultaneous users but really likes a static IP (maybe a little DDNS program will solve that)

My Dad and I found a shortcut around Dodge City because we both dislike it a lot.

Going to Mary's from Wichita, turn onto Saddle Rd/Fort Ensign Rd at Ford and Take it all the way to Ensign. Merge onto Highway 56. You'll be going LEFT (gentle Southwest curve). Turn NORTH onto Highway 23. At Cimarron, turn back onto Highway 400/50 going West.

Shortcut around Dodge City

Congratulations! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) You saved 30mins or more not going through Dodge and running the very high risk of getting pulled over.

Gas is available at Ford & Cimarron.

I pulled the fog light switch from the hulk in my storage garage. I'll get it shipped.

Attached Image

Also I was reviewing my notes and photos. Anyone have a good set of vertical sail trim? The ones at the shop are painted trim black and very dented. Here's a photo of what I'm looking for. The ones on my hulk are also dented.

I will be in Thursday night around 10.

What time are we starting on Friday? I need to know what time to be up and out of bed.

Also, If you can get me a list of the parts you need new, I will be going by Zims on Friday, and can get them shipped quickly.

Does anyone have a heater pull cable?

It attaches to the flappers and loops thru the heater control handle in the cockpit.

Looks like #59

Nope... that part is NLA. I tried to get one when I did my car.

Get picture hanging wire from the hardware store. It works fine.

It needs to be more rigid than pic wire. But, a similar material can be gotten in town, I bet.

Just found this: Auto Atlanta has it in the catalog for $22. Whether they have it in stock is not known.

I actually used a fairly thick picture wire. No problems so far. It only pulls, so no issues with flexibility.

AP said she would get some of the gaskets and such, but here is the list I made from the main list.

Axle flange gaskets
Copper exhaust nuts x8
Muffler gaskets
exhaust head gaskets
Turbo tie rod set
Cone screws x2
Seal atop the windshield under the targa seal.
L and R door window felt strips
Side marker gaskets

Mark (Mikey914) said he is sending a care package of seals and that he would have bumper tops for front and rear next week. Not sure if in time, but they are not necessary to make the car go. I will be happy if only non essential stuff is left that Mary can do with our guidance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) However, I am shooting for completion.

I agree, and actually had a conversation with Mary last Saturday about completion.

I told her anything left would likely be easy for her to complete with our help by posting photos and asking questions.

Shoot for the moon though!

I offered Mary my new inbox Mikey914 bumper tops until he has new ones made (the blizzard back East may delay him getting some raw product). I have both front and rear that have never been out of the box.

I bought mine for the '72 that is still in paint & body - it could be awhile before it comes home - weeks anyway.

I can throw one of these in the care package no problem.
-Seal atop the windshield under the targa seal.
It's going out tomorrow, and the bumpers I'll do my best to get there ASAP.
