Check out the shipping cost? $150 for shipping on a pair of seats I've never heard of sounds a little high.

I'd be a little hesitant to deal with someone that has had 25 negative feedback ratings in the last month.

Chimp Sanctuary NW. Check it out. Group: Members Posts: 22,193 Joined: 2-March 03 From: Orion's Bell. The BELL! Member No.: 378 Region Association: Galt's Gulch |
seeing as how each seat is probably in its own box ( not stacked, with 2 in one box), a handling fee for each one, and insurance, the shipping is not that much out of line. a stock 914 seat in a box that is not carefully trimmed will set off the oversize item alarm. my concern would be how they fit into the back pad.

Cheap knockoff seat too...
Probably not safe for racing. Notice the subtle use of STYLE throughout. You get what you pay for... in my book. Also, it looks very wide to fit in the backpad area of the cockpit. Qarl |

Did you notice the width of these seats? They're 22" wide. Am I mistaken, or is there NO WAY this would fit into a 914 when you consider the E-Brake handle and the narrow construction?

Plenty of those ricer seats avalible on ebay.
Just about 90% of the "racing seats" are those... Note, they do not give you enough support. They where designed for the ricer in mind. Not the racer. |
