O'Daniel Porsche in Fort Wayne is preparing for their Annual Tech Session April 9.
From the Central Indiana Region "CIRcular" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ O'Daniel Tech Session - April 9 from 10:00 am to around 2:00 pm They promise to have a Porsche Driving Experience instructor there to go over the new Sport Chrono package on the new 911 and Boxster. Greg Ranney from O'Daniel Porsche says this is a great presentation. They'll also have a Rep. from Eagle One Corp. to go over products and proper techniques for keeping Porsches clean, shinny and well protected. And did I mention that there will be a GT on the showroom floor. If you haven't seen this wild machine up close … well, you should. Also included in the days' events are two racing Go-Carts and a track set up for some fun competition- style racing. It will be a fun time and the O'Daniel folks are even providing food. O'Daniel is pulling out all the stops to put on a great event this year and hope we give 'em a big turnout. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They are providing food and need a headcount, so if you want to attend let them (or your region's activities chairman) know. O'Daniel Porsche 5611 Illinois Road Fort Wayne, IN 46804 Tel: 260-435-5350 See ya there! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) |

This sounds like fun. Easy for me to figure out which one to take.....914 has a "spraying" oil leak. Think it's the seals around the oil cooler (think I need a new engine...like in the 3.2l range!). The 928 isn't charging correctly so I've taken the alternator out for a rebuild. Looks like the ole tail dragger!
Buck, I'd like to see that 914 with the 6 in it! If you are not too far away from O'daniels maybe we can buzz over there. Like the 912...had a 66 and it was a blast to drive! Jim p.s. here is my fleet! Attached image(s) |

Ya know, being the good friend that I am (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) ....I'd be happy to drive your taildragger there on your behalf, so you could still be there in spirit and all, right? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

Jim, You must live up in Granger. Is that Knollwood? Knollwood is were all the owners of the Tire rack live.
The fellow that owns the carrera gt in Ft. Wayne has a big business selling keyboards to the music industry I think. The car is black I am told. I haven't seen it yet on the street. Do you think if I show up I could join the michana porsche group again? I am getting a new tranny installed on the 914-6. I bought it from a fellow in Calif. that put in a lsd and a sportomatic pion set into a 901. I know a fellow in Bremen In. that is putting together a sbc 283 914 together. His name is Kelley Meyer. It is 12:30 am, Ipod just woke me up.... I'm rambling...... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) |

Hmm, I might have to look into this. But, I don't have a (running) car. Rats. It's all apart for my Megasquirt conversion.
Lemmi think... Anyone got an extra car they need driven???? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) Tom |
