if you're going to paint the Targa bar black to suggest the original /6 Appearance Group, the rockers should be black. with a body-color Targa bar, the rocker should be body color.

that is my opinion, since you ask, which you are now free to ignore.

The Targa bar is gonna stay yellow. I fear that all yellow will make it look taller, shorter in length, & slab sided......tho it IS slab sided.

Will there be valences (front and/or rear)? If so then all black across the bottom will be easier to respray at home to repair rock chippery.

Are you going to glass the rockers into the rear fenders? If not then you'll have a lot of seams that will be visible because of the yello.

My vote is black rock-guard regardless of what you do with the targa bar.

Bill P.

Bout as much as me, I guess, or we wouldn't be here (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)

Black front bumper & LE dam....no rear valence.

How's the car coming, Bill. Got a cat corral yet? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)
While you were down in Argentina you shoulda got one of those cat herding dogs I read about on the net.........

OK, I had some extra yellow & shot it on a rocker. When it dries, another pic.

I like the "break up the lines" thought
I shot the engine lid (suitably lightened) yellow.....grills & all
along with the turn signal lenses....it's a yellow plague.
