I got a chance to climb on a friend's bouldering wall recently and I was smitten. After a month of waiting for shipments and slow process of construction I've got my own. It's 8' x 8'. A nice size, but I'm already imagining another 8'. It's a 20 degree overhang and has about 450 hold positions. I'm stoked!

Cool. While you're up there, pretending that you are stranded on some godforsaken mountaintop, just don't start thinkin' that you might have to learn to like the taste of human flesh. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

So when are you going to start puting holds on the ceiling? Move the 914 before you try this.

I didn't think about the ceiling. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)
I'll stick with what I've got for now and add wall as my skills improve. |
