I dropped the engine on my new project 914 today, and now can really appreciate a previous owner. He really liked red, and painted the fan housing, intakes, trans-axle, and even the heat exchangers.

My engine produced 147 hp on the dyno. When I painted some of it red, it boosted it up to an even 150. ISYN! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
