Hello everybody ,
I recently repaired and flipped a 914 gearbox to install in a beetle, overall its awesome , no grinding or popping , the only issue I have is that it makes a barely audible noise kind of like a whine on 3rd+ . Could it be too tight backlash? That would be the good option. I have on vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5KBJdoniOQ |

You flipped the entire box, or the ring and pinion?
