Hi,
I'm looking for a post reagarding a yellow 914-6 racecar. Post had a link to pictures of the car. One of the pictures showed an oil cooler in the rear passengers side fender. I'm trying to locate the pics again but can't find the post. I checked each page from now to 20 pages back and just can't find it but i know it's there. If someone recalls, please post the url again. Thanks Marc-André |

QUOTE(si2t3m @ Oct 7 2003, 05:36 AM) I'm looking for a post reagarding a yellow 914-6 racecar. Post had a link to pictures of the car. One of the pictures showed an oil cooler in the rear passengers side fender. pretty sure that was a car from this year's German AutoFest, so that should help you narrow your search. there are pictures all over the place from that event - several people here, the PP site - others... |

This is (or was very recently) Alan Kendall's car. I only have a couple of pics.
Maybe about a year ago Panorama had a longish story on the history of the car. There should me more pics there. I don't know if it will show what you want. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Thanks a bunch!!!
With the name, it hit me that it was on John Lowe's site. The picture is was looking for was this: (IMG:http://fly.hiwaay.net/~jonlowe/MVC023F.JPG) as i have this plan... I saw this white 914-6 conversion from VT with a boxster air intake on the passengers side. It didn't look fugly at all. So i have this idea of mounting and oil cooler at an angle in the rear passengers side fender, fabricating ducting to capture air and shielding it on the other side to prevent it from being damaged from road debris. I know, oil cooler goes in front! But if i can get air in there, it could be a nice alternative. I'll probably try to modify a rocker panel like this first: (IMG:http://members.rennlist.com/chuxter/LScoop3.jpg) if that's not enough, i'll go for the boxster side vent solution. I only need the additional cooling at the track. Driving around never got it over 210-220 max. Marc-André |

I know that's not for street, but if it was it would be the
