I was looking at my title, and was wondering if there was a way to find out about the original factory options/body color/interior color on the car using the VIN code. Any info?

you need a Cardex. You can get it through PCNA or maybe even your local dealer.

Unfortunately, no.

There are some generalizations that can be made about your car, that can be based on what year your car is.

Otherwise, to really be sure (as sure as you can with ~30 year old records maintained at Porsche), you need to order a Certificate of Authenticity. This piece of paper is AKA a "Cardex".

Current costs for a Cardex is running about a hundred dollars.

hope this helps,

If you check the plate rivited to the left door hinge post you can use the paint code to tell you the original color of the car.
