Looking forward to another fantastic time in Moab this year with 914's from all over the country.
Make sure you mark these dates on your calender now: September 21-23...................... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wavey.gif) Moab has some incredible mountain roads and scenery like no other in the country. Should be another fantastic time in MOAB this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) More details to follow soon. The host hotel should be set up by the end of the week, so that reservations can be made. Looking forward to the rolling beer kegs on hotel luggage carts again. How'd you get that picture?
It was taken at one of Vegas' most classy casinos. I think they has since converted it into a homeless shelter (then again, maybe was already when we were there)... |

I had some problems with finding a hotel today, so I had to put a little more effort into it this year. Our host hotel is going to be THE LA QUINTA INN
La Quinta Inn - 815 S. Main Street - Moab, Utah 84532 - 435.259.8700 Rooms are $95 +tax (discounted quite well) (IMG:http://www.laquintamoab.com/building_04.jpg) I have 35 rooms reserved, but I suggest you book soon, because we used all of them last year, and every other hotel in Moab seems to be booked this year. If there is a problem booking a room, please send me a pm, and I'll fix it for you. I really like last year's hotel, but the La Quinta seems to have better facilities. There is a playground for the kids, an area for pets, 2 BBQ's, and we reserved the conference room in case of bad weather. When you call in, tell them you are with the clubNARP or 914World group, and you will receive the discounted rate. We are trying to work out the registration fee right now, and are waiting for price quotes from the restaurants. As you know, all of the money from last year went to all of your meals, and anything left over was donated to CHARITY. Last year's recipient of the charity funds ($1500) cried at the presentation. It was pretty moving. We anticipate the registration fee will be no more than $70 this year. Book a room. We look forward to seeing you again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
